Dear visitors,
We are delighted to welcome you to the estate. Cheverny is a family-owned château that has been in our family for over six centuries. It is a vibrant place, shaped by history, which we are keen to share with you.
In May, the gardens are stunning: at the moment, 100,000 alliums form a vast 250-metre-long purple ribbon in the gardens. A unique spectacle not to be missed! The wisteria and rhododendrons are also in bloom.

In May
NEW: A double purple ribbon, 12 metres wide and 250 metres long, winds its way through the park.
Equestrian show
In May, every day except Mondays, at 11am and 3pm, a 45-minute equestrian show takes you on a journey into the world of dressage and the bond between man and horse.

Discover the most beautifully furnished château in the Loire Valley.
The Estate’s Six Themed Gardens
The estate’s gardens change with the seasons. At the moment, alongside the 100,000 alliums, the rhododendrons and wisteria are in bloom. Come and soak up the colours!
Monumental flowers
In the apprentice garden, giant poppies grow up to 3 metres tall. Further away, giant alliums enchant the lawns of the Orangery and transport you to a colourful world.
