Free car parks
Cheverny Castle has three free car parks for visitors, which you can locate on the map of the estate.
Upon arrival in Cheverny, follow the signs:
The free P1 car park, closest to the estate entrance, is for light vehicles; it is free to use during the estate's opening hours.
The free P2 car park, 250 metres from the entrance, is for cars and has seven spaces for buses and coaches.
The free P3 car park, 250 m from the entrance, is reserved for motorhomes. Ideally located, it allows visitors to park their motorhomes near the Château de Cheverny and the town centre, during the day only. It does not offer any services (no waste disposal, no water, no electricity, no rubbish disposal, etc.). From April to September, you can opt for the Cheverny "Les Saules" campsite located 3 km away. The campsite has pitches with 10 A electrical connections and a service area for waste water and chemical toilet disposal.

À vélo
Cheverny Castle is located on the Loire à Vélo cycle route and welcomes cyclists who visit it, whether alone, with their families or in groups.
You can park your bicycle free of charge at the entrance to the estate, opposite the shop, thanks to the numerous facilities installed there. If necessary, 20 additional parking spaces are available about 30 metres further on in car park P1, opposite the Tintin shop.
However, bicycles are not permitted inside the estate.
Cycling trips around Cheverny
The La Loire à Vélo cycle route, which offers 900 km of linear routes and loops around the river, passes along the Cheverny estate, on Avenue du Château and then Rue du Chêne-des-Dames.
Cheverny Castle can thus be the starting point or the main stop on a memorable trip or excursion in the Loire Valley.
Two beautiful local trails in particular, accessible to beginners, pass by the castle:
Loop 6, "Au Royaume du Cerf" (23 km), takes you on a beautiful two-hour ride through the forest on quiet country roads.
Loop 4B, "Between Vineyards and Castles" (25.8 km), will give you a glimpse of the rich heritage and wine-growing tradition of the surrounding area on quiet roads. Allow about 1.5 hours, or more if you decide to stop for visits along the way!

Helicopter drop-off is possible (authorisation and quote on request).
