Within the Cheverny estate, to ensure the safety of visitors and property, as well as the preservation of the estate and the quality of the visit, the public is requested to comply with the visitor regulations.
These rules apply to all visitors to the estate, anyone organising an event there, and anyone present on the estate for professional reasons (other than estate employees).
In particular:
Access to and movement within the estate is prohibited to persons whose behaviour is contrary to public peace or disturbs public order.
In the event of an incident, visitors must comply with the instructions given by the estate's employees to ensure their safety.
Access to the estate may be temporarily suspended if visitor numbers exceed capacity.
Photography and video recording by visitors to the estate and its buildings is permitted for private use only, provided that it does not damage the image of the château and is not used for any public, commercial, advertising, promotional or professional purposes.
In general, the owners of the Cheverny estate accept no responsibility for damage caused by persons and/or property in their possession or for the deterioration, loss or theft of any property, regardless of the reason and whether the incident occurs in the car parks or within the grounds of the estate.
