We are delighted to welcome you to this lively, photogenic and historic location. To ensure that everyone can enjoy their visit to the full, there are a few simple rules governing photography and filming.

For your personal memories

You may, of course, take photographs and film your visit for private use: to capture a family moment, share a memory with your loved ones, etc. Such recordings are welcome as long as they comply with the following:

  • The comfort and tranquillity of other visitors

  • The image of the castle and its grounds

  • The integrity of the works, objects and furniture on display

For safety reasons, selfie sticks and tripods are not permitted inside the castle and buildings.

For any professional project

Filming of films, programmes, reports or any commercial, advertising or promotional use requires prior written authorisation from management.

It is also prohibited to publicly broadcast, live or recorded, any audio or video recording made in:

  • Cheverny Castle

  • The gardens and outbuildings

  • The Secrets of Moulinsart exhibition

Respect for rights and heritage framework

Please ensure that:

  • Do not film or photograph other visitors without their consent

  • Respect copyright and intellectual property rights

  • Do not obstruct traffic or compromise safety

We thank you for your understanding and respect for these guidelines, which allow everyone to enjoy a peaceful and enriching experience. If you have a recording or filming project, please do not hesitate to contact us: we will be happy to discuss it with you.
