On 21 and 22 March 2026, the grounds of Cheverny Castle will host the 22nd edition of the Plant Festival to mark the beginning of spring.

Organised by the Rotary Club Blois Sologne and the Loir-et-Cher Horticultural Society, this event brings together 11,000 visitors, 126 exhibitors and 100 volunteers!

A very comprehensive and varied festival

Over a hundred exhibitors – regional, national and European producers – will present their finest plant varieties and creations related to the art of gardening.

You will also find unusual products, garden decorations, furniture, crafts and clothing, as well as valuable advice on gardening in a way that respects biodiversity.

Workshops, discoveries and activities for children

As you stroll along the paths, be inspired by the diversity of produce, chat with fellow enthusiasts and take part in themed workshops run by the Loir-et-Cher Horticultural Society. Cuttings, grafting and rose pruning will hold no secrets for you!

Whether you are an amateur or experienced gardener, you will leave with new ideas and, perhaps, some rare plants!

Children are not forgotten: activities are available, such as wicker weaving and a carousel.

Making solidarity blossom

At this Rotary Blois Sologne event, each ticket purchase helps support essential causes:

  • Medical research

  • Humanitarian actions

  • Assistance for people with disabilities

  • Support for young people

Last year, thanks to visitors, €60,000 was donated to change lives.
