Jazzin' Cheverny is a programme of events held in Cheverny's church square, featuring exceptional evening concerts on a stage set up in front of Cheverny Castle.

Did you know?

Jazzin' Cheverny was created in 1998 by Luc Stampers. Today, it is one of the 10 largest jazz festivals in France. 150 volunteers and 70 sponsors work together to welcome renowned artists, 4,000 spectators in front of the château and 15,000 festival-goers in total every year!

An exceptional programme

Every year, Jazzin' Cheverny is delighted to present a varied musical programme featuring renowned artists and emerging talents from the jazz scene. In 2025, it was Michel Jonasz & Friends, Marcus Miller and Shades who performed on the stage in front of the château.

In addition to the free concerts held on the church square, three concerts take place on a stage set up in front of the castle, which is illuminated for the occasion:

• Friday at 8 p.m.: programme to be announced

• Friday at 9:30 p.m.: programme to be announced

• Saturday at 9 p.m.: programme to be announced

Did you know?

The drum kit was born thanks to jazz! Its components existed previously, but it was musicians in New Orleans who brought them together at the very beginning of the 20th century to create an ensemble that became more complex over time, with the evolution of music and techniques. Each drummer then composed their own "set".
